Kate Burney
Kate Burney is a film writer and critic based in Birmingham, Alabama. She contributes to Hypercritic, focusing on cinema and television, with reviews spanning from classic films like Roman Holiday to contemporary works such as The Apprentice and Aftersun. A graduate in Film & Global Studies and a Telluride Symposium alum, Kate has developed a passionate curiosity for the ways that stories impact our lives.
